Sept 20 — At a State Council Information Office briefing on the opening of the 15th Five‑Year period, National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) Deputy Director Yang Sheng said the agency will tighten legal and regulatory frameworks and accelerate drafting standards for frontier fields, including brain‑computer interfaces, using standards upgrades to drive quality improvements.
