On July 1 President Trump made his first flight on a new presidential aircraft gifted by the Qatari government, praising it and saying the US "couldn't build a plane like this." He departed for North Dakota to attend the opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library and told reporters before boarding he was excited and that "no one has ever seen a plane like this before."
